COVID Vax Recovery (CVRA)

 COVID Vax Recovery Anonymous (CVRA)

"For those seeking peace after following the crowd."

12 steps

  1. We admitted we were powerless over the pressure to conform — that our peace of mind had become unmanageable.

  2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to clarity.

  3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand Him, rather than the collective narrative.

  4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of the reasons we chose what we chose — both external and internal.

  5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our fears, doubts, and motivations.

  6. Were entirely ready to have God remove the residual guilt, regret, or anger still within us.

  7. Humbly asked Him to release us from these burdens, trusting we did the best we could with the knowledge we had.

  8. Made a list of those we may have harmed through debates, judgment, or division — including ourselves — and became willing to make amends.

  9. Made direct amends wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

  10. Continued to take personal inventory and when new conflicts arose, promptly admitted them.

  11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

  12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to others who feel conflicted about their vaccination choice, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

13th Step Safeguard

"We do not give medical advice, nor do we shame decisions made under pressure, fear, or incomplete information. This program is for those seeking emotional, spiritual, and mental recovery after the personal conflict, regret, confusion, or awakening that may have followed receiving the vaccination."

12 Traditions

  1. Our common welfare comes first; personal healing depends on group unity.

  2. For our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority — a Power greater than ourselves.

  3. The only requirement for membership is a desire for peace after receiving the vaccination.

  4. Each group should be autonomous except in matters affecting other groups or CVRA as a whole.

  5. Our primary purpose is to carry our message of peace and clarity to those still suffering.

  6. A CVRA group ought never endorse, finance, or lend the CVRA name to outside causes.

  7. Every CVRA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.

  8. CVRA should remain forever non-professional, but our service centers may employ special workers.

  9. CVRA, as such, ought never be organized; but we may create service boards directly responsible to those they serve.

  10. CVRA has no opinion on outside issues; hence the CVRA name ought never be drawn into public controversy.

  11. Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion.

  12. Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before personalities.

12 Promises

  1. We will know a peace that surpasses the confusion of regret.

  2. We will stop replaying the what-ifs and should-haves.

  3. We will make peace with those who see differently than we do.

  4. Fear of authority or mandates will lose its power over us.

  5. We will see our own strength in making informed decisions moving forward.

  6. The obsession to control others’ medical choices will diminish.

  7. Our minds will no longer race with conflicting narratives.

  8. We will forgive both ourselves and others for decisions made in fear or ignorance.

  9. We will value personal sovereignty and discernment.

  10. We will walk with compassion rather than division.

  11. We will become more equipped to face future challenges with courage.

  12. We will carry this newfound serenity into every area of our lives.
